Any kind of commercial use is excluded. Our team is happy to help you if you have any questions regarding our Academic Program.

The UML Lab Student Edition is intended for students who want to use UML Lab for their studies.

All you have to do to get a free UML Lab Student Edition with an Academic License is to register for the Student Edition and download UML Lab. Please note that you have to upload a student ID (or similar) as .jpg or .pdf (max. 5 MB) during the registration process.

After registration you will receive an email with your access data for your Academic License. Enter your login data to the UML Lab Academic Server into the UML Lab Preferences and have fun!

Register your research and education facility with its URL and IP range and download UML Lab. Enter the number of floating licenses needed for your students, teachers, scientists and developers.

After a short check of your data you will receive the access data to our academic server by email. Enter your login data into the UML Lab preferences and check out your Academic Floating Licenses as required.

Please note that UML Lab Academic Edition Licenses are intended for research and education only; any kind of commercial use is excluded.

Yatta Solutions’ Academic Licenses are so-called floating licenses; they allow concurrent usage of UML Lab. Academic Floating Licenses are provided by Yatta Solutions’ Academic Server; you do not need your own license server. We want to make your license management as simple as possible.

To check out a client license enter your access data after registration into the UML Lab preferences and get your Academic License as required. Your client license will be valid for a special lease time. You may check out a so-called long term license if you expect being offline for an extended period of time. Your client license will be renewed automatically, if UML Lab is connected to the internet and started within your IP range.

Yatta Solutions provides technical support for UML Lab in accordance with our Support Policy through the Yatta Forum or our trouble ticket system.
